A bright, delicate ferment made with British rhubarb and real vanilla bean powder, naturally fermented for gentle tang and depth of flavour.

Lightly floral, tart and subtly sweet, this ferment works beautifully spooned over porridge, yoghurt, ice cream, oats or cheese boards, or enjoyed straight from the jar.

Slow-fermented in small batches, it develops softness, complexity and a vibrant pink brine naturally over time.

Unpasteurised and handmade in Wales.

Please note: this batch is currently being sold in glass jars rather than pouches, as the pouches are printed with “organic”. Although this batch is not certified organic, I can reassure you that the rhubarb was grown using the same organic principles by Growing for Change CIC.

If you prefer glass packaging, I’d genuinely love your feedback. I’m always open to change to ensure customers receive the best possible product.

Ingredients

British Rhubarb (62.6%), Water (35.9%), Salt, Vanilla Bean Powder

The rhubarb was kindly grown by Growing for Change CIC. A market garden and community project based near Bangor supporting people through horticultural therapy, recovery from substance misuse and mental ill health. Ingredients are harvested fresh and grown using organic principles at Moelyci Farm.

To taste with

Spoon over porridge, yoghurt or vanilla ice cream.

Lovely paired with soft cheeses, granola or dark chocolate.

Try adding a little of the brine to sparkling water, cocktails or salad dressings for a bright acidic lift.

Storage

Keep refrigerated.
Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 2 weeks.
